We do subside needy students – this is in line with our vision statement.
Highly qualified and experienced staff. Lecturer training is done as part of staff development.
Consumer Protection Act – compliant – you get value for your money.
Occupational Health and Safety Act – fully compliant – distance away from hazardous materials.
CEO and Campus Manager Vastly Experienced in teaching / lecturing and administration.
Learner support classes in most subjects throughout the year at no extra cost to the students. We do not offer ORIENTATION CLASSES and do not issue internal (college) certificates. This is ILLEGAL and in our opinion is a waste of time and money. To further support this opinion note that the minimum entry requirement is Grade 9 which is adequate to commence N1.
In – house mathematics specialist.
Part – time students may attend full – time classes and vice – versa at no additional cost with permission of the campus manager or the CEO.
Expert guidance on the choice of programmes for Higher Certificates, Diplomas and GCC. Over the years we have been visited by students from other colleges, regarding incorrect subject combinations.
We are the cheapest in town. Considering that you pay for photocopies/textbooks at certain colleges. The price you see on the FEE STRUCTURE is the only amount you pay. There is no hidden cost.
DISCIPLINE
Considering that our college population includes non-matriculants, discipline is maintained throughout the year. We at KwaDukuza Technical strongly believe that an indisciplined student is an unsuccessful student.
We do not adopt the attitude “if you fool around you fail”. We motivate our students throughout the year.
This is why we have been producing outstanding results.
ACCREDITATION
KwaDukuza Technical joined the list of elite private colleges on 01 April 2018. The accreditation team leader,
S.Thotha spent many man hours to achieve this status. This is the first college in the Ilembe District which was accredited by Umalusi (Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training) under the old accreditation process which was rather demanding compared to the new accreditation process.
Not only was the old accreditation process more demanding than the new one, but it took longer (5 years) than the new one (2 years).
It is also accredited by QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupations) for N4 to N6 qualifications.
